Day 1: Hue to DMZ to Khe Sanh
We pick you from Hue at about 8 a.m and ride along highway 1 to Quang Tri town.
First we stop at Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights.
And we continue on to Ben Hai River (known as 17th Parallel and also the border line between North and South Vietnam during the American war )and Hien Luong Bridge (a symbol of division, expectations and the pain of loss, a historic witness of Vietnam’s tragic but ultimately victorious past )
Next we ride along the coatal line to see Cua Tung Queen Beach and then explore the Vinh Moc tunnels and the Demilitarised Zone, stopping for lunch at the Doc Mieu Firebase..
In the afternoon we will have a short stop at Truong Son cemetary a burial ground for soldiers who fought and died on the trail during the American War.
Continue on Highway 9 ,this scenic route is a spectacular ride and takes us off road through the mountainsto the US Marines base ,Camp carroll .On the way we will stop for taking pictures of the Rockpile and visiting some ethnic minority villages that live along Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Around 5pm we arrive in Khe Sanh which was established as a forward base by General Westmoreland near Laos to secure highway 9.
Checking into your hotel and you have free time to explore the area.
Day 2: Khe Sanh to PhongNhaCaves
After breakfast we visit the Khe Sanh combat base, then we ride on the west Ho Chi Minh trail, today you have the chance to see the real trail with its mind-blowing, spectacular scenery – lots of jungle, mountains, waterfalls and villages of the Paco and Van Kieu Minorities.
We will ride through the Sa Mu pass, se pang heng river, Lang Ho village, U bo pass, areas made famous in the American war.
Tonight we stay at Phong Nha Farmstay(dorm bed ) ,you can simply take time to experience local village life or chill out in a hammock by the pool .If you want to stay in a private room ,we will stay at a hotel in Phong Nha town
Day 3: Phong Nha caves (7km Underground Trekking Through Paradise)
Go further than most with this tour for the adventurous! On this tour you walk 3.5km into this breathtaking cave, past the lights and tourists, over rocks and through underground (You can do PARADISE caves instead)
In the afternoon we will stop for a swim in the Suoi Nuoc Mooc Springs, and visit Tamco caves and Kilometre 0 or the west Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Later we take you to Dong Hoi town and you can catch bus or train from here to Ha Noi ,tour ended here

( Greatest cooking class )
I took a great cooking class in Thailand, so I had high expectations. Without a doubt- this is the best one!!! Anh is nice, kind, funny and most importantly- speaks very good English. My friend and I we’re picked up right on time, and went together

This is a really great way to learn about Vietnamese and Hue style food and culture in a laid back, home kitchen environment. Anh met us at our hotel and we the went on a tour of the local market where we learned about specific ingredients for our dishes
