Ingredient for Vietnamese green papaya salad-Gỏi Đu Đủ 

Ingredient

 for fresh mixing 

  • 200g grated green papaya
  • 100g grated carot
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 cup roasted peanut

for marinated beef

  • 100g sliced beef
  • 1/3tsp each of( stock, peper, salt, chili, turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 tsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp minced sharllot, 1 tbsp oil
  • for frying later 2tbsp minced shallot, 2tbsp oil

for dressing fish sauce(stir well for sugar disolved and add the lemon juice in the last minute)

  • 100ml fish sauce
  • 2tbsp sugar
  • some fresh chili and garlic pounded
  • 50ml lemon juice

 

Instruction:

 

  • If you have green papaya you need to dip it in cold water in 15 mins to keep bright color and crunchy, can do the same with carrot
  • Place the fresh mixing ingredient in a bowl and mix them together then place in a plate
  • Marinate beef with spice above in 20 minutes then heat the pan with oil and sharllot left. quick fry on high heat then add on the salad
  • Pour dressing fish sauce all over the salad, add roasted peanut on top and mixing well before eating
  • You can eat with rice cracker
